About the Role

1. Helping the sales team to improve their productivity by contacting customers to arrange appointments and ensuring all Sales Representatives have high-quality, up-to-date support material.

2. Preparing quotations in time to send to customers, inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time.

3. Handling urgent calls, emails, and messages when Sales Representatives are unavailable, answering customer queries, informing them of delays, arranging delivery dates, and scheduling marketing events.

4. Handling orders by phone, email, or mail and checking the orders have the correct prices, discounts, and product numbers.

5. Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently.

6. Interact with our subsidiaries to co-ordinate spare parts supply and delivery and services on time.

7. Sales administration duties are performed accurately and on time, which include proactive follow-up of quotation, develop, support and prepare sales documentation.

8. Other Sales Administrative duties assigned by operation manager time to time and to be completed when necessary.

9. You are expected to be a team player and have a positive, professional, and helpful attitude towards colleagues and customers, both in and out and show willingness to learn and take up new challenges.

Requirements

  • Diploma and or Sales Admin related field.

  • 1-2 years' experience as sales.

  • Experience as a Sales Coordinator in shipping industry may be advantageous.

  • Team co-ordination most important.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.

  • The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.

  • Must be Malaysian Citizen.
